We’re in Sweden for Christmas again this year. We spent Christmas Eve at Åsa’s mum’s house. There was lots of food, presents and tonnes of snow…
Now that we have plenty of snow we decided to test our sledge on a hill near the house. There was nobody else there so we had plenty of space and loads of fun….
Since it’s coming up to Christmas we decided to make some gingerbread. We made houses, people, Star Wars characters and Carl made what can only be described as gingerbread splats.
Once again it is nerd weekend time in Stockholm. We had a great weekend with a tonne of troopers, fantastic and fun guests and a lot of general silliness.
Jessica, who is Carl’s godmother, has got herself a new job in Dubai. She came to visit us before she set off on her new adventure.
Our friend Jimmy is a train driver and he asked Carl if he wanted to come for a ride on his train. Of course we had to grab the chance!
We’ve been away in Tenerife for a week taking it very easy. We stayed at an all-inclusive hotel so we didn’t have to clean or cook and Carl was enrolled in the Bamse kids club so we even got some time off from being parents. Perfect!
Ever since we moved into the house, Åsa has been trying to work out what she wants to do in one corner of the garden. Now she’s decided so, for her 40th birthday, she received two huge stones that will form part of her new area. They arrived today and Carl was most impressed with them but more impressed with the big truck that delivered them…
I’ve been collecting Star Wars autographs for a few years now and they are starting to take up too much space. Therefore I have started from scratch and am collecting all my autographs on one Empire Strikes Back poster. It’s always been my favourite of all the movie posters so it just made sense to use this one.
